Toys!
My series of toy paintings and drawings began in 2003, at the end of my schooling at Miami University (OH). The paintings are narratives of social issues and current events seen through a playful lense of childhood toys. These are meant to convey an element of innocence or naivete when dealing with sometimes complex or heavy issues.
